This year has been a truly transformative experience for me.
In my daily life, I work as an educational project manager, developing soft skills and entrepreneurial mindset in students. I am also a musician and play the trombone. But deep inside, I have always felt that there was an artist in me who had not yet fully found her applied expression, someone deeply drawn to colors, beauty, and the creation of atmosphere.
Last summer, I began asking myself a simple but important question: what form of art would allow me to create, but also to connect? I had explored digital art, worked with Procreate, studied 3D design, and experimented with different creative tools. Yet I realized that what I truly love is human interaction. I was searching for something alive, ephemeral, meaningful, art that exists in the moment, yet leaves a lasting emotional imprint.
That is how I discovered face painting.
I started with YouTube tutorials, testing materials, learning about brushes and paints, and practicing step by step. In the autumn, I participated in the Halloween Challenge organized by the school, and I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. The kindness, the passion, the level of dedication of both teachers and students were inspiring. You can feel that people here are talented not by accident, but because they have worked hard and support one another.
Even though I wear many hats in my life, like being a wife and a mother to my beautiful daughter, as well as to our cat and dog😅, and face painting is not currently my full-time occupation, it has brought me immense joy. I have already completed several services and received very positive feedback. The program I followed was extremely detailed and structured from A to Z. It gave me not only techniques, but confidence. I now feel equipped, grounded, and much more professional in my approach.
What makes this school truly special is not only the content, but the community. Knowing that I have one year of access to the platform and future updates is incredibly reassuring. And whenever a question arises, there is always someone ready to help: amateurs, passionate artists, professionals. It is a place where you feel supported. There are no “stupid questions.” You grow. You feel understood, even in your hypersensitivity, even when you spend hours choosing the perfect paint or thinking about color harmony.
I can already see the evolution when I compare my first creations to what I am capable of now. Of course, I know mastery is a lifelong journey. But now I understand focal points better, color combinations, placement, balance. I see my areas of improvement clearly, and I feel motivated rather than overwhelmed.
A special thank you to Olga Murasev for creating this school and this vision, to Simona Strete-Rad for the inspiration, and to the entire team for their dedication and support. And a heartfelt thank you to Maud Chabod, my coach and guide, who supported me in French with such kindness and precision. Her feedback was always encouraging and insightful. You truly feel that the teachers care, because your success is their success.
For me, this certification marks one of the most important milestones of the 2025–2026 school year. I am proud to have passed my final exam, grateful for the journey, and excited to see what I will continue to discover, improve, and create in the future.
I wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone who feels drawn to this art form. It is not “just entertainment” or simple animation. It is real artistry, real technique, and real connection. In a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, face painting remains deeply human, creative, and irreplaceable. It brings people closer, celebrates individuality, and spreads beauty in a very tangible way. Thanks to this training, I have already started working with my first professional clients, and I feel confident stepping into this new chapter.
Thank you. Truly.
Sincerely yours,
Anna
